My dogs hate the antiseptic scentJul 13, 2010 My dogs used to not mind teeth cleaning (I previously used the Nutri-Vet Enzymatic Chicken Flavored Canine Toothpaste). I wanted to try the DDS Dental Wipes because it sounded promising. Although it makes it easier to clean their teeth, my dogs detest the smell and taste. Every time they see me with the container, they run and hide. They never reacted this way with their previous toothpaste.
in Japan,,,Dec 06, 2009 I (and my dog,,may be,,)love this item.
this is very useful!
but,,,in Japan,I can not get this item(or similar one).
so, this is my 2nd time to purchase this item.
OK, compared to brushing...Sep 23, 2009 My Bichon Frise isn't thrilled with this product but seems to tolerate it better than the brushing (I've tried all forms!). Nothing eliminates formation of plaque, so you'll still have to have professional dental cleaning, especially with Bichons

Dogs love itJan 22, 2009 I've tried mini toothbrushes and my dogs do not like plastic objects stuck in their mouths. Frankly, I don't either. I'd rather see a dentist use this on me. The dogs loves to lick the pad. Get them to do that so they can get used to the taste. After that cleaning their teeth will be much easier. The only thing I worry about is how long this will last. I use it on two dogs every other day.

Caution If Swallowed...Oct 03, 2008 Our dog loves the flavor so much she swallowed a dental wipe whole. Within the hour, the emergency room vet induced vomiting and the wipe was regurgitated intact. Vet indicated the wipe might have caused blockage in a small dog had we waited longer than 1-1/2 to 2 hours to bring her in.
