Great for those who love cats but can't get near emSep 26, 2006

I am deathly allergic to cats, yet my kid wanted a pet. We tried Allerpet C on our kitten based on the recomendation of a vet. It works perfectly. Just wash the cat once a week using a towel and a little solution and 90% of the problem is gone.

Love it - Here's how to make application easier for your catOct 01, 2010
By Aliza This product really works - hallelujah!
To apply it, I pour a few tablespoons of it into a pyrex dish, and microwave it for maybe 10 seconds, until quite warm. I then dip a washcloth into it, which cools it a bit more. The cloth is wet but not dripping.
When I rub it on my cat (after getting a good grip on the scruff of his neck), he's not aware of being damp at first, because a very warm wet cloth doesn't make him feel cold during the initial contact. Because my applying it this way is much less unpleasant for him, it's much less unpleasant for me!

Sneeze No MoreDec 01, 2007
By R. A. Hale I adore cats, but the minute I am in the same room with one, my symptoms escalate (sneezing, congestion, tickling throat, watering eyes) to the point of having to bid hurried farewells and run for the door. This has been a lifelong allergy. Antihistimines helped a little, but to no significant level.
So, when we decided that my mother, who is now elderly and lives in another state, adopt two cats to keep her company, I had to find a product that would alleviate my cat allergy symptoms, or face being miserable during every Thanksgiving and Christmas (ho, ho, ho).
So, when I found Allerpet online, and read the glowing reviews, I had two bottles shipped to my mom to apply to the cats (after thoroughly brushing them and having the house vacuumed). She said application was a cinch.
Allerpet is an amazing product. It works like a charm. As a precation, I did take antihistimines, but they were probably not even needed. During my stay, Mom applied Allerpet to the cats every other day or so.
Thanks to Allerpet, I was able to enjoy the holidays, and my mom's two beautiful cats, without unpleasant allergy symptoms.
I would recommend Allerpet For People That Are Allergic To Cats to anyone! Thank you Allerpet!

Works wonderfully!Jan 12, 2008
By Rosaidh Ceallach We have six cats. Our two daughters have allergic reactions to them from time to time, especially to one of them. I found that rubbing this into his fur about once a week (especially the hind quarters "all parts") helps tremendously to eliminate the allergic reactions. If I do forget to bathe him, I can tell when he needs to be bathed again because my daughter will hug him and a hive will start to appear. She gets Benadryl and he gets the Allerpet bath. The hives go away and don't return for weeks. I don't have to use it on the other cats as often as our one boy, so I save on the cost. Buy in bulk and it makes it easier. (We also have two special air filtration systems (RabbitAir) in our house and a Dyson vacuum for the hair / dander to keep allergens down.

works greatNov 18, 2009
By louisut My roommate is allergic to cats, and so it was with much reservation that I adopted a stray kitten. At first the roommate seemed fine, but as the kitten grew older and started grooming, the roommate's symptoms started flaring up. After trying various air filters and kitten baths with little effect, I researched the root cause of allergies, and found this product. It's an odorless and non-toxic solution that deactivates the protein that causes allergies.
The instructions suggest applying the product to a towel and wiping down kitty's fur, but I'd skip the towel completely. Instead, dampen your hands with about a half-teaspoon of solution and apply it to the fur directly. Clean any loose hairs off your hands and repeat until the cat is either slightly damp or thoroughly annoyed. I did it this way because she dislikes towels (prob a residual effect from the baths) and it wastes less product.
I'm happy to report that it definitely works as advertised. After several applications, the roommate's symptoms are completely gone. The roommate's happy, kitty is indifferent, and I'm happy that I won't need to subsidize a prescription of claritin.
