I put Biospot on my dog on Saturday and Wednesday she still had fleas. Its suppose to last for 4 weeks - it didn't even last for 4 day. Not only that but it leaves a gross oily patch where ever I apply it. Worst flea product ever!!!

ladies and Gentleman first of all I want you to know that my magazine is in no way connected to nor does Biospot pay for adds in DogDaysInLa magazine nor do we endorse any flea medication however we want to offer some advice.
What i do want to say and this goes for all the flea medications on the market to be a careful consumer.
The Chinese have been knocking of flea medications for several years,it is very lucrative for them these knock offs are often sold to pet shop suppliers, pet shops directly, vets, and online at a discount. They usually dont contain any of the active medications or the wrong ones.
Before you buy any topical medication for your pet ensure that your supplier offers a money back guarantee and they buy the product from the manufacturing companies distributor only.
Even large Pet stores and vets have purchased chinese knock off flea meds without knowing, after all if you could buy it for $10 less from a differant supplier wouldnt you?.
Some people say the product dosent work some say it works great.
The chinese knock offs dont work and may contain the wrong meds that can cause severe illness and even death to your loved one, remember the Chinese pet food Scandal not to long ago.
Bio Spot is not the only company this is happening to it is affecting the others as well. I have experianced it personaly with another company my medication was totally inefective, I tried to buy the cheapest one online and it did not work at all. If it is to cheap then there is a reason. Sometimes you can buy a Chinese knock of even paying the full price the stores vets dont even know.
So what can i do so fluffy stays flea free
Buy from a reputable supplier with a money back guarantee.
Dont buy the larger one to save money what happens is people buy the one for for 80lb dogs to use on fluffy there 10 lb maltese and invariably use to much. Thinking they can save money because they get 8 doses for $15 more but what ends up happening is upon application they squeeze the dispenser and fluffy gets a dose of med for a 40lb bulldog woops and invariably fluffy has a severe reaction because she has been medicated 4 times what she should have been. Then the rest evaporates from the plastic bottle while Fluffys at the vet.
When you apply the medication follow the directions, watch your pet carefully for any adverse reactions, if so straight to the vet dont wait.
If the product is not working return it to your supplier you probably have a knock off from China although the pet store and vet may swear otherwise or think your mad if you still are having no joy return to the manufacturer explaining you think it may be a knock off as it is not working im sure you will get a refund or and more product.
The manufacturers know this is happening and want to help the consumer and pet be flea free and happy.
I hope this helps people make sense of the mixed reviews on Topical flea Meds and allows you to see why some people give Bio Spot 5 paws and Some none and also the same for others.

I've been using Bio-Spot for over 10 years. At that time I had several dogs and they were loaded with fleas and so was my house. You couldn't walk in there without the fleas eating you up! I tried everything I could find and nothing worked. I finally found Bio-Spot and used it religiously on my dogs every month and it got rid of all the fleas. We have now been flea free for 10 years. It's the best product I've ever used. I'm never without it now!

I think this is a wonderful product and it does the job for much cheaper than other flea and tick products that do essentially the same thing.
