Almost TOO much fun!Jul 25, 2006
By peaches My dog LOVES this thing! She can't figure out exactly what it is or what she should do with it, but she spends a lot of time (and energy!) trying to figure it out. Her best friend (a Great Dane) was frightened at first but after a little bit of adjustment time it has turned into the ONLY TOY she has ever interacted with. And in response to previous ratings-- of course the package is going to tell you not to leave the dog unattended with the toy and not to let him chew off the rubber bits-- they legally have to tell you that. You're also technically not supposed to leave them alone with a bone or rawhide in the off chance they choke. My dog has managed to chew off small parts of a couple of the nibs, but it doesn't affect the functioning of the toy and poses no immediate hazard as far as I can tell. And besides, as long as the toy is on, they can't really keep the ball in their mouths for anymore than a few seconds anyway.

It's Great!Sep 26, 2005
By Bobbie J. Boggs I bought the crazy ball for my minature schnauzer who has recently lost her sight. She loves it! It has given her the ablility to play again. I roll it on the floor and she can find it with no problems.

I can't get enough watching my 4 month old pup go crazy after her bumble ball! She pounces on it, tries to catch it with her paws, lays on it, and kicks it! So far, it's held up well to her chewing, and the motor is still going, so I'm pretty impressed with the quality. If nothing else, it's a good toy to keep her moving on rainy afternoons when she has nothing else to chase!

Bought it at Toys R Us six years ago!Dec 10, 2005

For dogs???? Perhaps a dog would like it, but we purchased the Bumble Ball at Toys R Us six years ago so, at least THEN, it was intended for children. This has been practically THE best investment! We're on child #3 and he loves it as much as our eldest did. Little friends who come over love it as well. This is definitely on my list of "must haves" for toddlers!

It wasn't all that cool back when it was just for toddlers, eitherDec 06, 2005
By S. Hayes This scared the heck out of my dog. She barked and went nuts the way she does with the vacuum cleaner, and whenever we turned it on she'd just run downstairs and hide. I suppose it's not the ball's fault. Maybe someone whose dog isn't a neurotic mess would get more use from it.
