A superb productMar 06, 2010 My husband and I are known for going around with cat hair all over our clothes. We have two Maine Coon cats who constantly shed undercoat, and frequent brushing had not helped in the past. The Furminator removes only the fluffy white hair that sheds and flies all over our house, and the cats really enjoy it.FURminator deShedding Tool for Cats, 1.75-Inch Edge
Does the job!Mar 05, 2010 The 'furminator' does a great job at getting hair brushed out quickly. Most of my seven cats don't seem to mind it either which tells me it's not hurting them. Would buy this again.
Love it Love it Love itMar 04, 2010 Thank god. Finally a tool that really helps with shedding. This product is awesome. This has solved the nightmare shedding we experienced with our dog. She loves to be brushed with it. It really works!
Cat screamed bloody murder when I used this on herMar 04, 2010 I was not impressed. I was very gentle with this item, it ripped the fur out of the coat and I have three longhairs - One Maine Coon and two non-descript. I returned this piece for my money back. I returned to the brush that two of them love mild or rough on their bodies - they flip on their tummies for the rubber one (Kong Zoom Groom For Cats) - it collects hair, but gets dirty. I think this comb would be great, but the first cat stopped this short and when I picked it back up she ran under the bed. It might work on thin hair (Siamese or others), but the Maine Coon said NO WAY!
AmazingMar 01, 2010 With the summer heat, my two cats have started shedding up a storm. Even with constant vaccuming and Swiffering, there is cat hair everywhere in my house! A co-worker suggested the FURminator saying that it worked wonders for her cat and dog. I came on here to read some reviews and have to admit, this all sounded too good to be true! As soon as the FURminator was out of it's package, I started brushing my older cat and he seemed to enjoy it, even climbing on my lap to get more brushing time. The amount of fur that came off of him was stunning! It was incredible to see all the fur in the brush, knowing that it wasn't going to end up on my couch and rugs. My younger only barely tolerated the FURminator. She let me brush her for a short time and a lot of fur was on the brush when finished, but not nearly as much as from my older cat. All in all, if I can only use this on one of my two cats, it is worth it. The results were amazing!
