Good for feeding and watering crickets an mealworms.Jun 07, 2009

Works good for providing food and water to crickets and mealworms. For crickets it is best to also use Flukers high calcium cricket feed also to balance out the diet and make them more nutritious.
For mealworms, give them a mixture of oatmeal, bran, and hi calcium cricket diet or monster cricket food, and then put orange cubes on top. They dont mold like potato or carrots.

An easy to use gutload for cricketsJan 04, 2011
By C. Furniss Keeping crickets for reptiles is kind of a pain. If you don't want to have to worry about what to gutload your crickets and keeping them watered and fed, I'd recommend this Fluker's Orange Cube. Provides a good gutload and water to your crickets and is relatively inexpensive. It doesn't provide any additional calcium, however, which is vital to your lizards. There are calcium powders out there which you can use on your crickets, but my vet informed me that the powders have been linked to neurological damage in reptiles. I suggest buying Phoenix Worms and ditching the crickets. But if your reptiles are picky (like mine) every once in a while a cricket is a fun treat, and Flukers makes it easy to not have to care about cricket maintenance so much.

orange junkFeb 25, 2011
By in4thewin72 well i just recently purchased a 12 oz jar of this stuff in hopes of it working as advertised but was very disappointed after attempting to feed it to my crickets. i feed two dozen of my crickets three cubes each day for three days in a row and they wouldn't touch the stuff! in fact they were so hungry, they chose eating the paper towel i had in the cage over the orange cube! this stuff is a complete waste of money! i might as well throw this stuff right into the trash cuz its total garbage! this stuff should be recalled! do yourself a favor and spend your money on something that really works. im now feeding my crickets the flukers "high-calcium" cricket diet instead. they love it and i get twice as much for my money as opposed to the orange crap!
