 Light weight scoop for our dogs' dry food!Dec 12, 2008

I searched around for a large scoop and this one fit the bill to a "T". It is light weight, yet sturdy. Including the shipping it was a bit pricey including $5.00 shipping, thus I only gave it 4 stars (I believe about $1.99 for the scoop, but $5.00 for shipping), but it has come in handy as I now only have to scoop once for each bowl for the dogs instead of repeatedly with the small scoop I previously used. I purchased rolling storage bins at the same time to accomodate 40lb bags of dry dog food and they work out great. If I could find a 2-cup scoop locally to avoid the shipping I sure would purchase it myself, but since there wasn't one available in our small town, this was my best option!

It's a good, durable food scoop, but very long and very wide. Made especially for BIG dog food bags. No dimensions were given, so I had to guess & try. If it fit my purposes, I would LOVE it. Picture is kind of deceiving as it doesn't look as fully BIG all around as it is (made for an XL Dog!). However, for its size, it's meant to last long & work hard. We gave it away to a big dog's family and they absolutely LOVE it.
