 Keep the dog out of the cat foodMar 03, 2006

I bought this container after i discovered my bitch was eating cat food right out of the large can i kept it in. She had figured out how to lift the lid with her nose. She was gaining weight and I couldn't figure out why until i discovered her munching to her heart's content.
The vittles vault has solved that problem completely. It's easy to open and close and if my dog ever figures it out I'll take her to Letterman for silly pet tricks.

The Vittle Vault is the best product I purchased in all of 2005. The dry dog food I buy has some moisture in it and it would dry out when left in the bag. I had been trying lots of things to keep it from drying out. I tried storage bins but they are not air tight. I tried putting press and seal plastic wrap on the storage bins. Nothing worked. I finally found the Vittle Vault and I am thrilled with it. After telling a neighbor, she bought one too because she keeps her dry dog food on her screened porch and the ants would get in it. She says, no more ants. (I keep my dry dog food in the kitchen.) I bought the 30 lb size and it easily holds my 20 lb bag of dog food when it's still a quarter full. I really like pouring the whole bag in at once and throwing the big bag away. This is a great product.

I purchased this container after I bought the larger one [80 pounds] for his food. This was bought to house all of his treats and keep them safe from any and all animal teeth. I stack it on top of his larger container instead of having the bags on the top shelf on my rack in the kitchen. I had a mouse who feasted on the treats daily. Now it's dead from starvation. The lid is perfect and so is the size. I recommend this to all animal lovers and pet owners the world over. Worth every penny. Thanks Amazon.Com!

I used to keep my cat and dog food in a plastic rubbermaid storage container...during the summer I would get ants and the rubbermaid container was too big...it was one of those under bed ones because of the layout of my pantry. This thing fit in perfectly, holds a lot more food and seals tight...no more ants. My only problem is that it is a bit expensive for a plastic container....but it works perfectly and the lid spins on and off easily. Now it's out of sight and out of mind, until it's time to feed the animals.

This is terrific. The lid has an airtight gasket. This particular size holds almost a whole 17.7 lb. bag of Whiskas cat food. Amount that it holds is based on the size and density of the food or other item being stored. The top spins off and on easily. Handle grooves on all four sides makes it easy to carry and move. Stackable and hasn't broken even though my cats and dogs have knocked it down several times. I like it so much, I'm buying the 60 lb size for my dog food!
