Heavy DutyDec 23, 2007
By J. Smith I agree it really doesn't really stay put when you lean it up on something, but it is much sturdier and heavier made than most flat cat scratchers. It has taken so many workouts from my cat already but still in very good condition for many more, good value for the money. I always put a piece of that rubber grip drawer liner under it so it doesn't slide around on the floor. She actually hasn't touched the carpets since I purchased it for her.

good size but only usable lying flat of your cat has front clawsFeb 18, 2007
By J. Peak My cat loves it, mostly because of its size, but can only use it when it is lying flat on the floor. I tried it tilted against the wall, as advertised, but it just falls down. (My cat has not been declawed so he is rougher on it than some cats would be.) However, my cat is perfectly happy to use it flat on the floor. I'd buy another when this one is shredded.

By CMT Inclined to Scratch Ramp - Cat Scratcher my cat won't go near it even after I stored and rubbed it with catnip which he loves, perhaps it is because of the age of my cat he is now 9 years old and still prefers using my furniture as a scratching post.
Kids keep carrying it awayJul 04, 2010
By a NM reader Seems like a good concept, but my preschoolers won't let it stand against the wall long enough for the cat to try it. It sits flat on the floor, and our cat does not use it. Cat prefers the SuperScratcher box (also made of corrugated cardboard) which has a wider and longer scratching surface.
