Pet Owners MUST have Zoom GroomsMay 16, 2007
By Jenna Riane
"Baker & Mac Goddess Extraordinaire"
I've been a Zoom Groom user for 6 years. I had 2 cats and 1 dog in that time and have used it on all three. My cat is a Russian Blue type with a thick undercoat and a normal overcoat. She needs constant brushing and has hated nearly every brush I've used on her. She ran from the wire slicker brush, she would bite the round shedder brush, and regular soft-bristle brushes just didn't work. When I bought the Zoom Groom, I had no hope for it to be any different. Boy was I wrong - my cat turned into a brush lover. Anywhere that she is, if she sees you take out a Zoom Groom she will come running. I used to keep it in a drawer and everytime I opened the drawer she'd run over. Now it's in the bathroom and she follows me in there every time I go (even when it's not for brushing her!). The brush also works better and is easier to use than any other brush I've tried. It really pulls up the undercoat and makes her super smooth and shiny. It also works great on my short haired Boston Terrier/Chihuahua cross dog. The fur mats on the brush better with the cat than the dog, but a lot of the fur for both of them does wind up either on the floor or in clumps on the animal itself and you do need to pick it off. As other reviewers have said, it works great in the bath with the dog - it really helps lather and remove the dead fur. Also of note: it's made of silicone so you can stick it in the top rack of the dishwasher or wash it with anti-bacterial soap and it will get clean.
I have given these as gifts to the pet owners that I know and everyone agrees - it's the best brush you'll find, especially for the money. Do yourself and your pet a favor, and buy one today.

Zoom GroomSep 19, 2006
By Dezert Dogz I have 4 large dogs - 3 are rescues - all of which are labs and/or lab X. I use the Zoom Groom (a different color for each one) on them all and they love it and sit very still the whole time. It picks up the undercoat and loose hairs that would normally end up on the carpet. Great product.

Makes bath time betterNov 27, 2006
By MercyStreet Our beagle barely tolerates getting a bath -- not a fan of water, he tries to wiggle out of the tub. We tried using the zoom groom as a bath brush and it helped a lot. He calmed down immediately and even seemed to enjoy the way it felt. He has such a hard, dense coat -- the zoom groom during bath time helped strip out more of the loose fur, and it got him a lot cleaner than using our hands alone. Only give it 4 stars because I wish it came it different sizes -- but other than that, a great product.

Goldendoodle approved!Mar 23, 2010

I have the SWEETEST goldendoodle puppy. She is 4 months old and is nearly the perfect dog already. One of the very few challenges I've had is brushing her. She simply would NOT tolerate it. And if I could get her to stop biting for 2 seconds, the slicker brush pulled out all of her adorable curl. I figured I'd give this thing a try considering I'm facing a lifetime of fighting this fight with her. Holy cow. At first she reacted like she did with the regular brushes (i tried 3 kinds) but after a couple of minutes she was laying on her side so that I could Zoom Groom her. Hallelujah! I won't be living life with a matted, scruffy doodle.
Many of the reviewers said that the hair goes everywhere. This was not my experience at all. it collected on the Zoom Groom and I just pulled it off. Another good reason to switch from a slicker brush, I don't get stabbed when trying to clean it off. Can't WAIT to try this in a bath.

Amazing little brush!Mar 13, 2008
By A M Says Not only does this brush get the shedding hair off the dogs, it works wonders on the carpet and furniture too! Use it in a circular motion on the carpet, and wow - the hair comes up! We have a long-haired, double-coated dog and a short-haired dog. I have tried everything to get pet hair off of the carpet, and this brush works amazingly well. Only one word of caution...short dog hair does not stick to it very well - most of it falls to the floor. This brush also seems to work best on short-haired dogs when they are wet. You may still need another brush to get all of the loose hair off the dogs - and this brush does create a lot of loose hair. All in all, this is a great brush that the dogs love to be brushed with.
