My dog got this bed as a Christmas present. Upon unpacking it, my 65-year old mother laid down in it on the floor and fell asleep (that's how comfortable it is...) After she woke up and got out of it, my dog got in and hasn't gotten out since! The bed is plenty big enough for my 100 lb lab/golden retriever mix, and he loves snuggling up to the side cushions. Best of all, he stopped sleeping in our bed with no effort from us whatsoever! Everyone at my house is sleeping better thanks to this great bed.

This replaced an old blanket and my 70 lb lab curled up in it the first night and ever since. She loves to rest her head on the bolster. We even take it along in car as a travel bed. It is too large for my washing machine so I need to visit the local laundromat.

My dogs really like this bed. I bought two of them. They are thick and well-padded. My only gripe is that there are no zippers so one can take the covers off to wash them. Since most large dog beds do have removable covers, even the ones with separate roll areas in them, I find this to be a major drawback.

So my boxer absolutely loves this bed and when my friend and her boxer moved in, her dog took it over and growls at my dog when he goes near her while she's sleeping in it. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with a dog over 50 lbs. It's way too big for a little dog.

My 75-lb shepherd/husky mix seems to find this very comfortable for awhile, but when she needs to stretch her legs, she finds a little confining. Perhaps she would prefer the style with the bolster on only one side.She looks very cute, though, using the "bagel" as a pillow. You need a large space for this bed - the sides make it look more intrusive. Also, at least at first, it is a little unstable and tips a little, so you need it next to a wall. I have some concern about how I will launder it.
