Very effective.Jan 21, 2007
By Sharon B. My dog has a terrible case of fungal dermatitis with constant itching/scratching, hair loss and the worse smell around. He smelled like a barnyard animal. We used Malaseb shampoo twice a week at first (it was hard for us to shampoo him more than that) and then weekly for about one month. He is now much better. No longer scratching. Hair is growing back and he smells like a normal dog now. We also used the spray in between shampoos. We also purchased the pledgets, but found them akward to use. The spray worked better for us.

Highly recommended!Aug 01, 2007
By Nestor Delgado If your doggy has a musty, doggy oder, is itchy and begining to loose hair, your best bet is to use Malaseb Spray and Shampoo. My dog went for almost a year being misdiagnosed with all sorts of conditions and I spent thousands of dollars trying to figure it all out. At witts end I finally did a little reading and figured out he maybe suffering from yeast infection also known as "Canine Malassezia." Malaseb spray and shampoo are totally effective against this condition. As of 3 weeks in, his hair is growing back and itchyness had decreased dramatically. I highly recommend this as your first option, especially if there is an oder involved; that gives the condition away becase yest infections are rarely oderless.

Great ProductJan 08, 2008
By MJ Our Golden Retriever suffers from periodic yeast-type infections around his face and especially the paws. While I wash most of his body with non-allergenic shampoo...I lather up those yeast areas well with Malaseb (letting it sit for 5 minutes) and always see immediate improvement...seems to also do a great job at neutralizing associated odors. They offer a spray for maintenance, but I've found it best to just lather up a cloth and do a spot wash in between full baths. Excellent product.

canines with skin allergies "wag" for Malaseb shampoo!Apr 21, 2008
By Thomas Gilbert Jr. For years now, we have had three different dogs ( cocker, cairn terrier and an Austrailian Shepherd mix) that developed severe skin allergies with itching, flaking, and even sores from getting these scratched spots infected. The source of these allergies is unknown, but cat dander (from the three felines) is suspected.
Besides the expense of vet bills, antibiotics, and even occasional steriod injections, nothing ever worked. Pills, ointments and regular medicated baths have done nothing. Flare ups continue.
Malaseb shampoo to the rescue! Soothes, comforts, rinses easily. No more sores or flaking, dog does not seem to itch (source of the condition). Happy dog!

Kills RingwormAug 04, 2007
By J.D. Haller
"Librarian in Another Life"
I used this to fight ringworm on my newly-adopted kitten, and then my dog who contracted it. I used Malaseb spray in conjunction with the shampoo and it works great. It not only kills fungus but it leaves their coats soft and shiny. It really worked great, I would recommend having Malaseb products on hand for anyone with animals. It also works great on itchy, flaky skin. My dog had terrible lesions that erupted out of nowhere three weeks ago. Now the skin is healing and the lesions are starting to shrink. It's been about six weeks since the kitten presented with clinical signs of ringworm and she is healing up quickly as well.
