4Ferret CanMay 19, 2008
By J. Waye "the right waye"
This Litter Pan is very big and allows for a lot of litter and space for the ferrets. I do have one complaint though, and that is with the lock-on feature.

You screw the back to he cage wall with a handheld turning knob. (Which is quite easy and convenient to use) However, and I'm not sure how many other people have this problem, but my ferret, Chewbecca, likes to pull the litter pan away from the wall and ends up pulling the pan off of the wall fastening knob thing. Which takes a lot of force, but is still annoying.

So the only thing I'd improve is making the fastening piece more securely attached to the pan.

4Great litter pan for rabbitsApr 04, 2011

I had been using a regular grocery store cat litter box and had to put cardboard walls around it for overflow. Pellets dropping out are one thing, but rabbits also have a tendency to back too far up when urinating too. This litter box has stopped all of that. Yes, there will always be some tracking when they hop out and because rabbits just naturally can't help it sometimes.

The front is low enough that the rabbit can easily sit in the litter box while eating from even a small dish.

My rabbits did still use their old one more often which I left side-by-side during the transition, but once I took the old one away they have no problem using it exclusively.

4 stars is because while it works, I don't see anything really exceptional about it. I also wish you could choose a color, but that is not a knock on the product itself.

5Best litter pan out there for ferrets!Jun 29, 2008
By F. Lambert
I brought two of these to go in my ferret's cage. One to go on bottom and one on top. I was shocked at how big they really were! I knew they would be big but not THAT big. Which the size was really nice because my ferret is on the large size. The only problem that had with the litter pan was the locking system that locks to the cage. As soon as i attached both litter pans to the cage they broke. My ferret doesn't try to move his litterbox so the locking system not being there wasn't really a problem. But for anyone with ferret(s) who like to move their litterbox around i would still highly recommend this litter pan. All you would have to do is drill two holes at the top of the litter pan and use zip ties to attach it to the cage. The back is really high and the front is low enough to have plenty of litter but not so low that the litter can fall out easily. Even though the locking system is crappy i still give this 5 stars because of how big it is and low price compared to other litter pans.

**On a side note i've read on other websites where other people who bought this litter pan had problems with the sticker not coming off easy and making the back of the pan sticky as a result. I didn't have this problem because when pulled the sticker off i went really slow, so the back isn't sticky at all**

5Chew and poo station!Feb 10, 2012

Perfect! My new rabbit jumped into it the second he saw it and has been using it ever since. sturdy and easy to wipe clean, I havnt bothered attaching it to his hutch as I clean it once a day, I line it with newspaper and hay and he also loves to sit and eat and sleep in it:D

This is large enough that my ferrets use it and the high back/sides keep them from pooping onto the cage. I would have liked if there was a larger version about 20" wide and about the same length. Right now they occasionally use the corner next to the box, which is not being used anyway.

The lock-on feature actually works better than I thought it would. It keeps thee box fairly still, and doesn't let them spill it at all. I can definitely see it popping off if the ferret tries, but mine are fairly well behaved.
