The height on this scratcher is PURR-fect. My Bella won't scratch on anything but... except for my furniture, of course. I'm going to purchase a few more, so perhaps she'll leave the rest of my decor in tact!

Its excellent quality for the price. My cats love it. It supports their weight and is tall enough to keep them interested. Its sturdy enough to let one cat climd and prch on the top. I need a second for the other side of the couch!

This is a great scratch post. My cats all love it. It is heavy enough that it doesn't even move when my cat takes a flying leap at it or during the play fights around and on it with two cats at a time. It is also tall enough for a long stretch.

I purchased this item for my cat and he didn't like it! He prefers those cheap cardboard scratchers. I gave it to my daughter for her cat and he absolutely loves it. Cats are something else! But I was very pleased with the quality of this item because it was built to last!

I bought this for my two cats to stretch out, even though it was a lot more than I wanted to spend on a cat scratcher. I looked for something similar but cheaper, but couldn't find one. It probably only cost a few dollars in materials; there's not much to it. I have 2 large males, and the standard 16" scrachers didn't work very well anymore, especially for them to stretch their backs. This one is over 3 feet tall and is very sturdy so it won't tip over. The only thing I don't like about it is that it has a chemical smell that I can't get rid of, even though I've sprayed catnip spray all over it. My cats don't seem to mind though.
