I had a much easier time using this blade for my Shih-tzu puppy cuts than any other ones I have tried. It saved me a lot of time

Works WellMar 29, 2010
By LadyLicR I bought this to cut the thick hair of my Pompom. Works perfect going through the thick coat. It is a tad shorter than I wanted ( my Pompom loves it though ) but that is my fault. The only drawback that I can tell is that if the hair is longer than say 2" one might need to "trim down" the dogs coat before using this blade as it did not want to go through 4" hair for any reason. Again, though since I am not a professional, it may be just my learning curve. Blade temperature did not seem to hot to me or to my beloved pet. Compared to the generic blade I was using before, this blade is wonderful, and now both me and my Pom will look forward to the "summer shave" time.

Good bladeFeb 24, 2012
By K. Carr I do home grooming of my dog(s). I am pleased that this blade allows more length to the hair that permits body coverage rather than the skinned look left by the #10 blade. Used with a guard, it can be used to leave longer hair on the legs. It does not get nearly as clogged as the #10 blade when used with the guard.
Great BladeFeb 25, 2012
By A. Luegger This is the second of these blades I bought for my labradoodle. She has thin, curly hair. This is the best blade I found for her coat type so far. Stayed sharp for a long time. I definately recommend it.
