I am the proud new owner of a Chinese Crested Powder Puff puppy. As I've never owned a long haired dog before, the first item on agenda was to find a trimmer to keep his hair out of his eyes and for other critical areas. Much to my amazement, the Oster Finisher Trimmer makes this job very easy and pup looks as good as the day I got him. It was recommended by a Bichon Frise owner and she got herself a new one as well.

These trimmers help do so many things the larger clippers can't do and they don't make as much noise or vibration.

I have bought Oster clippers before at the lower end that are junk; this is a nice machine; you cannot cut your entire pet with this (unless it's a hamster)--it's for areas around the face, feet, ears, etc. Cuts very precisely.

the oster finisher trimmer model 59 light duty animal trimmer has been an excellant choice. i use it on my poodle's eye area as well as my yorkie's trimming needs. i would definitely recommend this product to anyone.

I find that this clipper doesn't cut as smoothly as I'd hoped. I was hoping to trim my dogs' faces and feet with it and it's a little bulky and the cut isn't smooth. Perhaps the blades aren't as sharp as I'm accustomed to with my big clippers.
