My chinchilla has been on Charlie the Chinchilla food for 6 years because he never ate pellets. I bought Oxbow before but he didn't eat it but this year I decided that the crappy charlie the chinchilla food had to go because of how much raisins they put in it. I always took out all the raisins but he didn't even eat the pellets in the charlie the chinchilla food. Because he might get liver damage, I bought this bag, and amazingly he ate it. I am mixing it with his food, and I dont know how much pellets hes eating but he ate pieces and I could tell he ate a whole bowl. This food is amazing and great. Better than Mazuri because Mazuri is owned by Purina which I hate. Even picky chinchillas will eat this. The oxbow lasts a long time. The expiration date on the bag said 2014. Also its a great price for a 5 pound bag unlike charlie the chinchilla food. You must buy this for your chinchilla.

my chinchilla loves it, personally, i don't know if it's good taste or not, since i don't really wanna try it myself, but as long as my chinchilla eats it, i'll keep buying this product.
