Guinea Pigs Love It!Sep 24, 2011

I really hope Amazon gets this hay in stock again. I bought a small bag of it for my guinea pigs and they couldn't get enough of it! My local pet store only carries a heartier blend of Oxbow hay, which they don't seem to like as much. I'd HIGHLY recommend Oxbow hay and Oxbow Cavy Cuisine pellets if you have piggies, though. It's a bit pricier but it's much better than any other pet food because it has all the nutrients they need.

I have visited the Oxbow Farm. You, literally, have to drive through corn fields to get there. I had to use satellite imagery to find it! This was when I lived in Nebraska. I wanted to see how buying the best of the best would make my piggies healthier. My two little guys, at that time, went crazy with Oxbow hay and feed. From day-one, they loved it! I would never buy from another manufacturer. I have a piggy now who has never had anything but Oxbow products. By-the-way, they have excellent customer service too. I'm not kidding, total professionals who call you back prepared to answer any question. This is one of the few things to which I have absolute brand loyalty.
