 Good stainless steel scoop and *NOT* made in China!Jul 18, 2011

I was looking for a scoop for our new puppy, and this was one of the few non-plastic scoops I found on Amazon. It looks better constructed than the other stainless steel scoops, so I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed when I received the product. It is well-built and is even *NOT* made in China! (It's a rare thing nowadays... *sigh*). I think the scoop actually holds a bit more than a cup when you fill it to the lowest edge of the scoop (we used a measuring cup to test the size when we first got it), but it's close enough that we know roughly how much one cup is using this scoop. Overall, we've been quite happy with this stainless steel scoop!

I bought this because it was not the regular cheap plastic food scoop. I like that it durable stainless steel. The handle could be bigger for easier holding and scooping. This is the reason I am only giving the product a 4 rating.

I was looking for a scoop for dry dog food, but when I found this one I had to buy it for scooping bird seed. It is vary nice for filling the bird feeders with a narrow opening.

This is a beautiful and sturdy scoop. I love it. It fits easy in my hand and hold a cup of dog kibble. I like it better than a measuring cup because it is so easy to scoop the dog's food out of the storage container.

I love this food scoop. It's beautiful, stylish, and well sized. My only beef with this is that it does not have any measurement markings, it would be perfect if it had the markings on the inside so I know how much dog food I've scooped out. However, I just measured in a measuring cup, poured that amount in the scoop and then used a sharpie to mark that amount. Works great for me :)
