Overall this is a very nice gate. It looks great, is well built, and is easy to install. And while I like the look of the wood portion of the gate, it unfortunately is a bad idea for puppies or dogs of any age that like to chew or are determined to get out. Within three weeks my 4 month old Beagle had chewed and broke his way through it. So I had to replace it with a gate made solely of metal.

I ordered this gate and just received it today. I cannot begin to say how much I love it. It was simple to install and it is very solid.
I have two chihuahuas, one of which is a climber so I needed a gate that she couldn't climb. The problem I found with most gates is that the bars are too far apart so she could either squeeze through or get her little head stuck. This gate is perfect because the bars are very close together.
I have already recommended this gate to several people and will continue to do so!!

My husband and I bought 2 of these gates for our new puppy and I love them!! I relish not having to take down a gate or try to step over them (which isn't fun for someone short ;). And this gate is stylish (is that possible? ;). I would recommend this gate to anyone. Yes, it's pricey (I had my doubts), but after a couple of weeks, I love it!!!! Buy it! You can't go wrong!

It's a great-looking gate for the money. It also functions very well and is adjustable. Just be sure that you measure your doorway and put it together using the correct hardware configuration for your doorway's size.

Baby gates don't hold a candle to this product. I thought I could skimp and pay about $30 for a baby gate to keep my dogs corralled. Well, the problem with that was that it was ugly and cumbersome to use.
Enter the Richell One Touch. The "white" finish is actually a very off white, not true white. The exact color I wanted.
This item looks really really nice. It's well crafted and you can tell. I don't notice it sometimes. It swings both ways which is really nice, too.
The handle on top is plastic. Thick and strong plastic, but plastic. I removed the gate to paint, and my dog knocked it over, breaking the plastic handle. One quick call to Richell, and they sent out a replacement at no cost to me. Didn't ask how long I had owned the product or require proof of purchase. Just took my name and address and mailed out the replacement handle.
I am looking forward to buying more of these! Great gate and great company.
