 This product is a necessity for cleaning up cat urine smells!Jul 06, 2010
Before ordering this product, I couldn't find where the smell was coming from at all on my darker colored carpet! This product was a lifesaver! You must use it in the dark and hold it pretty close to the carpet, but if you do it very clearly reveals any mess! Use this product in combo with " OUT! Stain and Odor Remover " ( http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000FFI3AE/ref=oss_product ) and you can watch the stain disappear nearly instantly! FINALLY my room smells pleasant again!
If you have a problem with cat urine, I HIGHLY recommend this and OUT! You will feel like your home is fresh and new again!

Does the black light find the spray? Absolutely! Is this light worth the cost? Absolutely not! The casing is very cheap plastic and the battery cover has barely-there plastic tabs to keep it in place. This light lasted exactly 5 minutes in my husband's hands. The light fell out of the casing( there's no cover over it) and shattered on the floor.

This light requires you to be right down on the floor. I'm too old for that. I think that another design would be easier to use.

This is an impressive little black light that totally works as described. You may not WANT to see all the pet spots it'll reveal.

This product has nice features including an option for batteries or external power.
The product also has down sides though. One is they don't give you can external power adapter, and two, the bulb is extremely exposed and can probably be broken very easily (although, I guess this gives you maximum light coverage).
Overall it works pretty good. It obviously works best in the dark.
