Nice sturdy carrierSep 27, 2009

This is a very nice, sturdy, collapseable carrier. It's nice to have something that is top and side loading. After having a hard plastic carrier, this one is much better for our lifestyle - in an apartment with no space to store a non-collapseable carrier. This carrier is perfect for our needs. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because I had some difficulty with arthritic hands to get the supports connected initially but it seems to be easier each time I do it and it is easy to unconnect them.

We bought this for a friend when she got her cat. The cat just loves it. She will hang out in the crate during the day and often takes her toys inside. The cat doens not mind going in the car as she can see her "mom" driving the car. It is big and roomy. In the car the seat belt is wraped through the handels to keep the carier from going airborn in an accident.
I did not see a choice of pink on the web page when I orderd the it. So I was surprised when it came and was bright pink. Luckely the cat is a girl and my friend is a girly girl and does not mind bright pink.

Our two part-Maine-Coon cats, 16 and 17 lbs., love this new carrier. Upon receipt of it in advance of a vet visit by Arthur, we set it out on the floor, opened both the top and front doors, and encouraged them to try out their new "kitty house." Both of them spent time sleeping in the comfortable, perfectly-sized container and snuggling up to the soft, cushy liner (included).
When the fateful day came, unlike past cat-fights to cram him into the old hard plastic carrier, it was easy to encourage Arthur to get into the new carrier from the top. The previous vet trip, Arthur had to be sedated before they could safely take him out of the carrier to examine him. This time, we gently pulled him out and he was a perfect gentleman, limiting his comments to just one hiss.
Needless to say we are very pleased with the purchase. The size is perfect for them, and I like how it folds flat for storage yet is very easy to assemble. They seem to like the more "open" feel, as they can easily look around in all directions (the drive to and from the vet didn't include the usual howling). Hard to judge durability since we've only had it a short time but it seems well-made. The only thing I would suggest to add would be a shoulder strap, but in truth it's awkward to carry boys their size no matter what.
Arthur and Isaac give it four kitty-thumbs up!

I put this carrier together and right away my cat jumped in and made it his. He loves sleeping in this as the bottom is covered in fur. I love this as well because it's very easy to carry and it's calapsable which makes it easy to store. This is a great product!

We were initially pleased with the cat carrier. We set it out for the cat to get used to it. Everything was tested and in working order. Right before our vet appointment, we closed the front loading zipper. One zipper pull broke off completely and the zipper itself was broken. The zipper closed but there was a section that did not zip. Since we did not return the item within 7 days of purchase, we were not eligible for a refund. We're stuck with a replacement. We were not impressed with the return policy or the vendor's customer service.
