One of the best toys in our cat toy collection!May 08, 2009
By Jump Boy Not sure why this toy has a low user review, but I purchased it anyway (been using it for about a month) since I was looking for something small and remote controlled to play with our cat. We tend to spoil him so we've accumulated quite a variety of toys and this is one of the few that he still gets excited about. A few tips about this toy:
1. The mouse holds a notably longer charge after the first few recharges, so don't judge its charging capacity until you've drawn down and recharged a couple of times.
2. It's quite zippy and works well on hard wood floors, not well on carpet. Hair does get wrapped around the wheel/axles, but I just use a tweezer to remove them periodically and the mouse is good as new.
3. There's a small lever on the bottom of the mouse that allows you to calibrate the direction of the mouse's front wheels at its "natural" position. This allows you to correct any turning bias it may have.
4. Our cat loves it when you combine the mouse with a large sheet of paper (like a newspaper). Crinkle/bend the edges of the paper up, so you can zip the mouse underneath it; wait a few seconds and watch your cat go into ninja pounce mode to attack and try to dig out/bat the mouse under the paper.

Trash!Nov 15, 2006
By Brad Chmielewski After one day of use this toy is now in the garbage. Basically to much cat hair gets trapped into the wheels which causes it to stop working. It was also rather loud and the cat wasn't a fan of that.
This may seem like a fun toy but you are better off getting something else.

Suprisingly - an excellent toy.Nov 30, 2005

There are three cats in my shared apartment; and I purchased the toy as more of a joke than for cat entertainment. I didn't figure this toy to be of value, when I wasn't behind the control. Suprisingly, all three cats love this toy. They team up to bat it around, carry it in their mouths, etc. The three cats range from rather portly and 'slow' to hyperactive - all three enjoy the Micro Mouse in his/her own cat way. Enjoy!

Not worthwhile as a ferret toyJan 04, 2006
By the digitalmouse I bought one of these from a local store after seeing it advertised here as a Ferret Chase Toy. Sure, my ferrets chased it, caught it, then stuffed it away under the sofa to be forgotten. It's just too slow for ferrets, and they get bored quickly with this toy. You are better off with a small and fast R/C car.

Remote Control Mouse Toy - DOAFeb 24, 2006
By R. Cotant The recipient of this gift stated that it took her 45 minutes to get the mouse to work. Then she kept pumping batteries into the toy, only to have it die after a few minutes. The toy was broken on the first day. Dead on Arrival! Sounded like a great idea for an indoor cat.
