Works great on humansMay 19, 2009
By moxieann I've used this product on my dog, and it helps. It's one thing she's not allergic to. I also have psoriasis of the scalp. I tried this and it helped me when I didn't have $400 for the dermatologist. But the real reason I love it, it makes my long hair the absolute softest it's ever been! I love it, it's unbelievable! I don't know if it's good for humans but Mane & Tail for horses got started this way when humans started swearing by it. So I really think it's worth a try. I'm a model so I have to look good and this is the best I've come across. I also use a moisturizing conditioner.

Canine Shampoo for skin problemsSep 09, 2005

OK, so it'll leave your dog smelling like a match (it's the sulfur)- and skin dry (follow with a humectant)- this shampoo worked great, rinses out, and my dog's skin showed much improvement with her staph infection.

Helps Fight Against YeastAug 30, 2007

My vet recommended this product to use on my Neapolitan Mastiff puppy when she had somewhat of a yeast "outbreak" on her skin. Not only was she all red and itchy but she STUNK. You could see and smell such a huge difference after just one shampooing (of course, one shampooing isn't enough). I call it the "miracle" shampoo. Now I don't have to listen to my family complain about her smell and she is definitely more comfortable. Another plus, one 12oz bottle goes a pretty long way, great when the dog is gigantic. I loved the way it worked so much after each shampooing that before I was half way through the bottle I found and ordered more through Amazon (MUCH cheaper than getting it through the vet's office). I would, of course, ask your vet before purchasing because you do not want to use the wrong product on your dog and cause more problems.

Great Shampoo for dogsDec 21, 2010
By charles My dog had an itching problem that caused his skin to dry out and become flakey and he was shedding really bad.The vet recommend this shampoo along with his other medication and they really worked. He started to get a little dry spot like before so before it got bad like before I ordered this shampoo. I have to bath him more often than normal, but to keep him healthy and happy it is worth it. I DIDN'T EXPECT to get it so quickly which was a nice surprise. I would order from this company again because of the ease to order and how quickly I recieved the the merchandise. Sincerely,Charles S.

It Really Works!Nov 30, 2009
By S. Cook This is the only product I have ever found that will dry up "Schnauzer back" on my dog. It does not really foam, so I don't use it as a shampoo. I wash him first, and use it afterwards. I do have to use it repeatedly during the warmer months, to keep it under control. Beware, it will make your animal smell like sulfur. I have only been able to find it online, but it is worth the expense. I even bought a bottle of it for my groomer, since she grooms a lot of Schnauzers. I know she'll love it too!
