I shopped local pet shops and this size of cage was 100.00 or higher. It is a roomy cage and the cost was much cheaper. It was well packed for shipping, but one corner was bent when it arrived. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase and so are my rats!

This Multi-Floor cage is large enough for my rabbit to jump and play. She loves it! It's absolutely worth buying and easy to assemble.

This cage is of a good size, but I found that the shelves popped off too easily, and i had to zip-tie them down, but other than that I have no complaints. The cage is easy to assemble, disassemble and clean.

I ordered this for my 8 month old boy rat. Had to separate him from the other rat because he was getting beat up and then he outgrew the smaller cage. I was concerned when I unpacked it because the bars are about 3/4 inch apart. I went ahead and assembled it and it is actually fine for adult rats and larger pets. It would probably be fine for larger juveniles but definitely not babies or escape artists. My rat is also blind so I set the cage up a little differently and used an extra ramp so he wouldn't fall and get hurt. You can order parts from their website.
It is hard to determine sizes from some of the the descriptions so this is what I found in my search and experience:
Super Per My First Home for Rats: Nice cage but kind of small. Good starter home for juveniles or for one rat who gets to go out and play daily. Fits in the car well if you travel with your rat. Size about 12.5Wx24Lx14H. Bars 1/2" wide
Super Pet My First Home for Critters is same size as above but 29" tall with an extra level (room for more toys)
Super Pet My First Home for Exotics: My original cage. good for 2 rats, multi level, lots of room. Took the wheel out because the rats did not use it. They also chewed up the hammock. 18Wx30Lx29H. Bars 1/2" wide

I have this cage for my two female rats, and they love it! Roomy, easy to assemble, sturdy, ect. I dread cleaning day, though. The upper levels have little dips just before the edge, where poop and pee collects into, and becomes a disgusting, smelly, sticky mess. I have to carry it outside, hose it off, and scrub it with soapy water once a week. It would also be nice if the top opened up.
Great for rats; personally, I would never put a ferret in it, seems too small.
