 Good, sturdy bowl for PigsDec 19, 2008

I've found that ceramic bowls work best for guinea pigs because they tend to like to stand on the rim while they eat and if the guinea pig is heavy, this causes the plastic bowls to tip over easily. This one has a nice soft rim that will be comfortable on little cavy feet! Also, guinea pigs eat a lot of pellets during the day and this is a good sized bowl. You can ensure there will be plenty of food available to them but you won't have to fill it all the way so spills/messes will be less likely.

This bowl is the perfect size and weight bowl for my rabbits. I bought four and I will return to buy more. The bowls are sturdy and hold up well even in outdoor use.

I bought this for my piggy. She LOVES it. It isn't' the same design, her's is more girly girl but is the same material and size. Even though it is heavier, my piggy can still dump it over. She LOVES doing that so I figure, "if she's happy!" I recommend this bowl! :)

lol....the picture shows a red dish, and when it states color vary, I thought it met, between, if u got the hamster, farret or the guinea pig bowl. Well nope, it really means the bowl. I ordered 2 at the same time for our guinea pigs, one was purple and the other blue. So if u do not care about the color, then a good buy.They r heavy and not to deep for a guinea pig. We go our guinea pigs as tiny babies, and now they r bigger needed a deeper bowl they could not sit in while eating. So this one works out just fine, and I can careless about the color.

I have the bowl for guinea pigs in purple. I like how heavy it is. I don't have to worry about the guinea pigs standing on the edges and tipping it over. I wish it wasn't as deep but it's not a huge deal.
