Literal Life-SaverSep 28, 2009

When my parents' ferret got the flu, he stopped eating and drinking. We forced him to eat, but we were sure he was going to die; he just had that look in his eye. When we began administering the Duk Soup, his appetite came back -- as well as his energy! After his first mouthful, he began eating on his own. He made a full recovery, and we entirely credit Duk Soup for bringing him back from the brink!
Not only did this food heal him, it turned him into an entirely different ferret. When we adopted him, he came to us with a naked tail, overweight, and lethargic. After we put him on a regular Duk Soup diet, he grew all the fur back on his tail, became active and began playing again, and developed a far healthier coat. You wouldn't recognize him as the same ferret at all!
The Duk Soup is simple to prepare and simple to administer (via syringe, mixed with hard food, or put in a bowl). The ferret laps it up in every form, although he prefers it warm.
This stuff quite literally saved his life. If your ferret is in dire straits, this stuff will save him. Even if you choose not to buy it as a supplement, you should buy it just in case of emergency!
Excellent StuffDec 09, 2008
By J. Brown I bought this duck soup to help fatten up my little guy, but found out later he had cancer. He loved, loved this stuff. I give it to my other 2 ferrets for a treat, and they absolutely love this stuff!

By A. Guiles Anyone who has ferrets should buy this stuff. Our fuzzies get a little bowl full everyday for a treat and they absolutely love it. If we forget to give it to them they will lay by the bowl and do their speed bump pout until we make some up! It took them a while at first to get used to it, but now it's their second favorite treat.
Saved my ferrets lives more than onceDec 01, 2007

On more than one occasion, when some of my ferrets became ill with severe stomach flues, stopped eating and were quite literally in danger of dying, this Duk Soup saved their lives. I fed it to them by a syringe until they were able to eat on their own.
At first, I also fed them Milk Thistle (homeopathic remedy for liver damage) and liquified gelatin (like a bandaid for the stomach), along with Pedialyte (for dehydration). I began mixing the Duk Soup with the Pedialyte and it turned out to be a very powerful boost for the ferret's depleted immune system and also remedied dehydration quickly.
Now I have a senior ferret who is terminally ill. He has pancreatic cancer and just about all he can tolerate is Duk Soup. I mix about a half a teaspoon at a time with Pedialyte or water and either feed it to him in a syringe, or let him lap it up himself from a (cleaned) mayonnaise jar lid.
Not only does Duk Soup have high protein and taste good, it also has lactobacillus and acidophilus (good to help replenish healthy intestinal bacteria that are killed when on antibiotics) and other good stuff that helps their immune systems.
