Great Instructional VideoMar 22, 2007
By ThunderChicken If you want to train a waterfowl retriever. This DVD is all you need. I have read almost all his books, specifically Water Dog twice. This DVD covers all the basics and beyond.

Outstanding ToolMar 08, 2006
By Ron D. Bolinsky Really good and informative. Lots of info especially how to go step by step... Would have given a five but I think this DVD shows older dogs for training examples rather than dogs that should be puppies.

Good summary of the Dog Training ProcessJul 16, 2007
By Brady Fosmark This is a good summary of the natural dog training process. The only thing I thought it was missing was a troubleshooting section. But, all of the DVD's I have watched have lacked in this area.
On the whole this is a very good guide on how to take your dog through the training steps but I would definitly recommend a book to go along with it.
Good complement to the bookFeb 09, 2011
By Idecoysnows Could be more in depth, but helps with visualizing some retriever training techniques and getting your timing correct on some of the drills.
Good hunting video for dog fowelMar 28, 2010
By Ken Whiteaker I had never thought to buy a video on training my dog but it was a big help. I take my dog duck hunting but it wasnt until I started using some of the techiniques in this video that my dog actually started producing. Now I no longer have to bring my chest waders and my dog does the work :>
