I have tried a few different types of bedding for my king snake and this by far the best. My snake loves this bedding because it is the best for burrowing.

the bedding seems to be of decent quality, the only issue i see is some of the points can be quite sharp, which concerns me. there is also some cheaper bedding by kaytee and you can even buy it at places for livestock, sold as "animal bedding." just make sure it is kiln-dried.

I received it fast, and it was packed well. The bedding is fine and clean. It's a great product. I will probably purchase more in the future. I wonder if they make it darker? UPDATE AS OF 3/13/2012... I received my second order, and I still love it. This is good stuff.

Best for burrowing, fairly dust free, safe, etc.
A bit pricey but finding it on my doorstep is worth a bit more.
I just wish it was available via Amazon's subscribe & save program.
