I adopted a bearded dragon who was not kept under the proper lighting. He didn't want to eat much and was very malnurished (sp?) and had early stages of Metabolic Bone Disease. I bought this light yesterday and I have ALREADY seen a SIGNIFICANT improvement in his eating habits and behavior. IN ONE DAY! I HIGHLY recommend this bulb!!!!! I had my Bearded Dragon under a MVB and she would sprint around the cage and eat everything infront of her. Now She has a 10.0 on the hot side and a 2.0 on the cool side. These bulbs are phenomenal and her appetite is just like with the MVB.

After buying a bearded dragon I was in need of a UVB bulb. I searched and kept getting confused as there were so many types of bulbs. I joined a forum or two and during my reading I found articles saying the curly compact bulbs were linked to cases of blindness in reptiles.
This was recommended to me in a post I made on one of the websites. It seems to be working fine, so far. I've had it for several days and run it about 10 hours a day. My dragon seems to love it and is a lot perkier since it was added to his tank (I didn't have a UVB bulb for about 3 days). I can see no reason not to recommend this bulb.
