Heat padMay 29, 2010 The temperature stays just right for my ball python and is reliable with creating an ambient temperature. It doesn't want to stick very well to my Sterilite tub, but I made it work. A side note with this, the pad is not intended for use on acrylic or any type of plastic tub...I found this out after I bought it. I have been using this pad with no problems and so have other reptile owners I've spoken with on YouTube; they even recommend it for your reptiles. I also will recommend this product for future Herpers and veteran owners.
Aquasaur heating sourceMay 06, 2010 We had trouble keeping our aquasaurs at a decent temperature (72-80F) without wasting lots of electricity or making ourselves too hot. This pad has worked nicely even under a slightly elevated plastic aquarium (aquasaur tank) to keep the water a few degrees above ambient. It doesnt get overly hot (just warm to the touch) Just a heads up for those looking to help keep their triops warm!
Great tarantula warmerFeb 06, 2010 My Mexican Red Knee Tarantula was in need of heat this winter, so I decided to try the under tank heater. I was worried that it could be too hot for her, but it was just perfect. It is still pretty cool in the house in the morning and she likes standing over the heated area about 90% of the time. I am unsure if it would be warm enough for a reptile, but my tarantula seems to love it!

crappy heatingNov 03, 2009 this thing can even keep my kingsnake warm and she's in a 20 gallon tank and it says it's for 10 - 20 gallon more like 5 - 10 gallon. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
didn't heat to temperatureApr 22, 2009 The heater didn't heat up my 10-gallon hermit crab tank to the temperatures needed to obtain ideal conditions. Even after adding another smaller stick-on heater, I still have to provide supplemental heat. Not impressed with the product, but the speed of delivery was fine.
