Would NOT reccomend This!Jun 30, 2010 When I first got this, I thought it was amazing. Then my water dragon got a respiratory infection from the fog (water was hot) cooling so fast. I didn't know that was the problem at the time, so I continued to use it, and it stopped working completely after 3 months. I had it on all day and off at night. I now use a pumped garden sprayer with warm water, works great and my wrists don't get tired like they do from the trigger sprayers.
Works greatMay 30, 2010 First off this is a fogger that only uses distilled water. Do not use this with mineral or tap water as mineral build up will kill it pretty fast (2 months give or take)
the plate that makes the fog cannot be replaced and there isn't much you can do to clean up any mineral build-ups so if you break it, you have to buy another unit, luckily its not too overpriced.
I use it with a 25 gallon terrarium, for anything larger i recommend using multiple units (if you're like me and need 90%+ relative humidity otherwise it would be able to humidify a larger tank but the overall humidity content would be lower) also hook up the unit to a rheostat (a controller that measures humidity and turns this on when humidity falls below the programmed level and turns it off when the levels are reached)
this is not a system you should leave on all the time, put it on a timer or use a rheostat. having it run all the time also kills it.
Good ProductMay 18, 2010 I use for hermit crabs and it works well. Very easy to use and everything you need comes with the product.

Stopped workingApr 03, 2010 I have been recommending this product to everyone, as it works wonderful... until it stopped working! It has to work hard to keep a 40 gallon tank humid, so it is on for about 3/4 of the day. I checked the manual to troubleshoot, and read the following:
"Operating the fogger in the "On" mode for 24 hours per day will REDUCE the life span of the fogger."
Apparently, so will operating it for the majority of the day. I would say I have had this for two months, working perfectly, then it just stopped working. I am going to try and return it to the manufacturer, and perhaps try another unit, but until I try another unit, I can not know if this is a defective unit or if it stops working under heavy use in just two months normaly. So, I can't recommend this product anymore.

Maybe a lemon?Feb 19, 2010 I read so many rave reviews about this fogger (I first got the little exo-terra reptile fogger and got sick of having to buy $5 replacement diaphragms every few days). Anyway, I was very excited about this unit. Well, After getting it and running it I thought, "where's all this fog everyone talks about?" As mine barely puts out a trickle. It has to run about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to bring the RH in my 45 gallon vivarium up to 60% And the top is half glass/half screen. Once in a while it puts out thicker fog that curls down and covers the bottom of the vivarium looking very cool, but it rarely does that. In order to keep my pygmy chameleons safe I have to additionanly mist every now and again every day and it's still winter. I'm not looking forward to what happens in the summer when it's much warmer in the house.
I also took the advice and bought the Zoo Med Hygometer controller, since everyone said this fooger makes so much fog that you HAVE TO have one or you'll be turning the fogger on and off too frequently. Well, I had issues with this unit too. It took me a while to figure out what was wrong with it, and aftre testing the sockets with a multimeter I found out they were reversed, so I got that working.
All in all, I have to say I am pretty disappointed in the products from this manufacturer. Maybe I got lemons, but since both brand new units had issues, I tend to think not.
